DG Parking attaches the utmost importance to protecting the personal data of its customers and visitors. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian data protection legislation in force.

1. Data controller

The data controller is DG Parking, operated by DG Service Officina, with registered office at Via Vicenza 26, 65129 Pescara (VAT no. 02153540683). For any request relating to the processing of data, you may write to info@dgparking.it.

2. Data collected

We collect and process the following categories of personal data:

• Booking data: first name, last name, vehicle number plate, entry and exit dates and times, parking space type and services requested.
• Contact data: email address and phone number, provided through the contact form or when booking.
• Payment data: online payments are handled through the provider Stripe. We do not store full credit card details on our systems; we only process the transaction identifiers required to manage the order.
• Browsing data: IP address, browser type and technical data collected automatically while visiting the site.

3. Purposes of processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• managing bookings, providing parking and shuttle services and the related safekeeping of the vehicle;
• processing payments and issuing receipts and invoices;
• responding to requests sent through the contact form;
• complying with legal, accounting and tax obligations;
• improving our services and ensuring the security of the site.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the performance of the parking contract and related services (art. 6.1.b GDPR), on compliance with legal and tax obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR) and, where applicable, on the controller's legitimate interest in the security and improvement of the services (art. 6.1.f GDPR) or on the data subject's consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), for example for non-essential cookies.

5. Data retention

Data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected. Data relating to bookings and payments is retained for the period required by tax and accounting legislation (normally 10 years). Contact data sent through the form is retained for the time needed to handle the request and, unless otherwise specified, for no longer than 24 months.

6. Users' rights

As a data subject, the user may exercise at any time the rights provided for by articles 15-22 of the GDPR, including:

• the right to access their own personal data;
• the right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
• the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
• the right to restriction of and objection to processing;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to withdraw consent at any time;
• the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

7. Cookies

The site uses technical cookies necessary for the proper functioning of pages and forms, for which no consent is required. Analytics and third-party cookies may also be used (for example for payments via Stripe or for maps), which are activated only with the user's prior consent.
